Porsche MIB Update — Apple CarPlay & Android Auto Activation Guide
Share
Bringing your Porsche's infotainment system (MIB) up to date unlocks Apple CarPlay & Android Auto and other head unit features. This guide walks you through the full process step by step — no dealer visit required.
Estimated total time: 15–20 minutes
What You'll Need
- SD card with the update files (provided by Codepro)
- A vehicle battery charger (recommended) or the engine running
- Do not turn off the ignition during the process
- Keep the doors closed, if possible, throughout the update
Step 1: Prepare Your SD Card
- Format the SD card again before starting, even if it's new.
- Copy all the provided files into the root of the SD card — not inside any folder.
- When you're done, the SD card should look exactly like this:

Important: The files must sit directly on the SD card. Placing them inside a subfolder will cause the update to fail.
